Databounties

Terms of use

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms cover your use of databounties.com. Our qualification check and valuations are guidance, not offers. Submitting a form doesn't commit you to anything, and any actual deal is governed by a separate written agreement.

About these terms

By using databounties.com (the "site"), operated by Databounties, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What we do

Databounties acts as a broker. We help companies that hold data assess it, prepare it and license it to AI labs, researchers and other qualified buyers. We aren't a party to your data until a written agreement says so.

Results and valuations are guidance

The qualification check gives general guidance only. Valuations we give after reviewing your data are indicative and based on our understanding of the market at the time. Neither is an offer, quote, appraisal or guarantee of any price or sale. What your data actually sells for depends on its content, quality, rights, exclusivity and buyer demand.

No obligation

Submitting an enquiry or data request doesn't create any obligation on you or us. Brokerage services, data licences, fees and commissions are governed solely by separate written agreements, including NDAs, signed by the parties involved.

Your responsibilities

  • The information you submit is accurate, and you're authorised to act for the company you name.
  • You won't submit personal data about other people, or confidential datasets, through our forms.
  • You won't misuse the site, for example by submitting spam, probing for vulnerabilities or scraping it.

Intellectual property

The content and design of this site belong to Databounties. You may share links to it, but you may not copy substantial parts of it without permission.

Liability

The site is provided as is, for general information. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on its content, including the qualification check. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
